Due to the delayed opening of many universities and colleges worldwide by the impact of
pandemic of COVID’19 and requested by many colleagues and potential authors, the
Organizing Committee of ICSI’2021 has approved to postpone the submission deadline to
“March 12, 2021” (Fixed).
Although the reviewing process of the submitted papers had being started to conduct
accordingly, we still accept the late submissions but the submissions after this fixed
deadline (March 12, 2021) will not be included in the conference proceedings anymore.
Due to the situation of continuous global COVID-19 pandemic, ICSI 2021 provides online
and offline presentations together!
The Twelfth International Conference on Swarm Intelligence (ICSI’2021) serves as the most important forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange latest advantages in theories, technologies, and applications of swarm intelligence and related areas.
Swarm intelligence is an important concept in artificial intelligence and computer science with emergent properties. SI is one of the most effective methods to confront the modern complex problems in real world. A lot of novel algorithms are springing up. ICSI provides the best communication opportunities for SI researchers and practitioners annually.
The ICSI’2021 will be held in Qingdao, China. Qingdao (also spelled Tsingtao) is a major sub-provincial city in eastern Shandong province, China. Located on the western shore of Yellow Sea coast, Qingdao is a major nodal city on the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road arm of the Belt and Road Initiative that connects East Asia with Europe, and has the highest GDP of any city in the province. It had jurisdiction over seven districts and three county-level cities till 2019, and As of 2014 had a population of 9,046,200 with an urban population of 6,188,100. Lying across the Shandong Peninsula and looking out to the Yellow Sea to its south, it borders the prefectural cities of Yantai to the northeast, Weifang to the west and Rizhao to the southwest.
The ICSI’2021 is the twelfth annual event in this high-reputation ICSI series following the continuous eleven previous events at Belgrade (Online Webinar), Chiang Mai, Shanghai, Fukuoka, Bali, Beijing, Hefei, Harbin, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Beijing.
Papers presented at the ICSI’2021 will be published by Springer-Nature in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (indexed by EI Compendex, ISTP, DBLP, SCOPUS, Web of Science ISI Thomson, etc.). The downloads of our meeting's proceedings reach the top 25% of all publications of Springer-Nature.
Some high-quality papers will be selected for SCI-indexed Transaction (including IEEE Trans, Swarm and Evolutionary Optimization, etc.) and Journal Special Issues:
